I love when my sister comes in my room every night and reads to me. This is the only time I don't mind her company. I'm grateful for this new tradition.
Aria and her family are back! Tight.
I'm grateful for my buddies Barbara and Janet in my home ward, they make "old people" lessons bearable.
I'm grateful for Jenni Winn, she made me laugh this week when I needed to have a good rest of my day.
(I'll stop saying grateful, cause obviously.... if it's on the list... you know I am)
I got to see Maren (spell checker says it's Yaren, wtft. what the french toast... i forgot where i saw that gay acronym), I saw her car and was like.. "YAY" then I was like "DDUUHH" Then I was happy cause, best friends hugs have magical powers even if she didn't know.
Journaling (is that even a word?) is where I can rant about anything and my poor journal can never get annoyed.
I'm sure I have more things... I can't write about a topic that's been assigned to me. FAIL. OH! Grateful for my small group of friends. Love them all.
My mail man hooked me up with so many important things! Letters, and school stuff, good and bad. My student ID, best ID picture ever. Not like super cute, but descent. Cause I'm cursed with a disease called anti photogenic itis.
This week thing is hard, next weeks will be better. It's just hard writing about things when your mood is changed thanks to a lovely individual. Thanks. Not!
Taylor Bryant! I haven't had a legit conversation with the guy since Junior year. But I really wanted to go to his farewell. I'm glad I did, I seriously was so happy for him! I got good vibes, he's going to be an AWESOME missionary. I just know it.
Dear Smart Tall Smart Athletic Perfect Hunky Boy Man,
Let's get married. We're perfect for each other. Tall boys
like short girls. It's like an unwritten rule.
After we settle and you're successful,
Keep in mind, this will take a long time:
we'll have 2 mixed girls. Daicie and Lauren.
I'll stay at home and play with my girls.
HECK! I'll even learn how to cook!
Then when we're older we'll live in a farm.
(I'll give you details on that later. Don't worry about it.)
We'll age together and it'll be perfect.
Love, Ari. ♥
4:00pm Thursday, I was laying on my bedroom floor. I seriously had nothing to do for about an hour so I got into a weird sort of fetal position and covered myself with a blankie and did nothing.
4:40pm, I feel... *THUMP-- THUMP-- THUMP*
I peep out and I see... my GRANDMA jumping on my bed!! Then she laughs like a maniac. Then lays and turns the TV on. No big deal.
4:5ishpm. *Thummppp THUMP thummmmpp ThumPP*
I look up and she's jumping! What the heck? I'm like "Don't let Jared see you, he'll pee from laughing!" Then I thought about it and was like, no he'll want to jump on beds. Then she laughs and I'm like "Get it out before Maren comes!"
5:somethingpm, *THUMP THUMP THUMP---about to fall*
**Sway-The Kooks, ringtone** It's Maren tellin me "I'll be there in a few, is that okay?" Me, in a weird monotone voice "No, haha just kidding come on blah la la"
Then I hang up, turn to my grandma and smile. "I'm going to tell Maren what you did."
Best thing ever, she gets a scared look on her face
"No!! Don't tell her, she'll think I'm crazy and she'll laugh at me and tell her mom."
Me, "I don't care."
I tell her and she's walking down, I fill her in on what we are talking about. She kinda runs to the kitchen and says "Tell her it was you!" No, no, no. I'd be proud to tell that it was me, sheesh.
Maren laughs, I have a big ole smile, and my grandma is like a billion shades of red.
So I hope you didn't visualize a granny, cause mine is pretty young. Early 50's.
That's pretty much my story. Yay for crazy grandmas!
